Diego Carvajal
Diego Carvajal is a versatile musician skilled in playing electric, nylon, and steel guitar, as well as mandolin, ukulele, and bass guitar. His musical influences span various genres including rock, pop, Latin, heavy metal, classic rock, and blues.
Diego embarked on his musical journey at the age of seven, teaching himself to play before pursuing formal training in classical guitar at the National Conservatory of Quito, Ecuador. He later studied Radio and TV production at CuestT.V Institute and spent a year at Berklee College of Music in Quito, Ecuador. Additionally, he holds a college degree with a major in Advertising Creativity and a minor in Graphic Design.
With over 20 years of experience, Diego has served as a studio musician and toured with renowned local artists in several countries. He has collaborated with esteemed artists such as Juan Fernando Velasco, Ricardo Perotti, Las Lolas, Esto es Eso, Ultravioleta, Israel Brito, Sergio Sacoto, Fernando Pacheco, Leo Dan, King Clave, and Fehr Rivas, and has been a part of several Top 40 bands.
For more than a decade, Diego has been involved in music production and recording voice-over talents for advertising campaigns in Ecuador and abroad. He was part of the house band for the "Social Jam" in Los Angeles, California, and has toured with Latin legend Leo Dan across the United States for the past 5 years.
Based in Miami, Diego works as a guitar tutor and musician at the Faena Hotel in Miami Beach.
